I had a third brake light wired in last week; pity that I didn't check that it would stick on the screen before it was wired. The original peel-back adhesive lasted 2 minutes; UHU glue isn't much better; it just falls off.

It must be a mixture of the curve of the screen, and the difficulty of sticking foam to glass, plus my breath as I wait there holding it.

Can anyone put me out of my misery with a good adhesive for this application?

The problem with screwing a holder into the parcel shelf is that our Amazon shelves are very deep, needing a good high base which I can't find in the usual LED brake lights.
