thanks, well that was interesting, i had read that breifly before.



now as a side note. there is one other problem on this car.

there is transmission oil coming into the radiator, assuming it's a bad radiator.

wondering if this possibly sending false readings to the coolant sensor, which in turn, chanes the timing?

this is my nephews car, so maybe i'll sugest putting a radiator from the pick-n-pull in, and see if that could solve the problem.

he doesn't have money to spend on new parts.
