moisture in headlight lenses

The best solution I've found is to remove the headlight from the frame, carefully separate the lens from the reflector back, dry and clean the inside of the clear lens but don't rub the silvered reflector or the metalic coating will come off, clean and scrape excessive old glue off the seams on both lens and reflector and reglue with a high quality, clear silcone. I found silcone adhesive designed to seal glass/windsheild seams works very well. I keep the two halves in place with masking tape and allow the adhesive to cure for 24hrs and then remove the tape and re-install the lights. So far this fix has remained water tight for 5 years on my 88 244DL. Hope this helps.
