My post seems to have become disattached from its refence. I have no idea what I was referring to!

As far as the 'balloon', it's a figure of speech: "Don't say anything [about it] or you'll pop his balloon." Meaning that you'll intrude upon the private make-believe world the subject has created from non-existant fabric.

Don't sweat it, I lost myself back there somewhere!

Did I mention before that I was notified that one of my photographs was selected for inclusion in a new book? 'Endless Journeys' ISBN 0-7951-5247-7

I think you can find it at www.picture.com by searching for 'Steven Stanfield.'

Too bad, actually, because I was planning to use that in my own book, but I wanted to see if they thought it was as good as I did, so I gave them permission to use it. I kept the rights to it, though...;-)
