I'm getting sick of seeing this stupid RDS rant on every overdrive thread.

In this case, the topic is the manual OD. Or don't you know the difference?

Apparently RDS didn't either, since the manual and auto ODs both use the same kind of solenoid control circuit. Only difference is that the automatic tranny starts with OD automatically engaged. Big deal.
