Um, the MPPE makes a fair bit more torque at 2500 rpm (as low as we measured it on the dyno) than any stock B20 makes at the torque peak, including the '70-'71 B20E. I don't think anyone would call the Unitek Phase 4 a "torque cam"... there doesn't have to be a trade-off.
