If it is a standard cam it's not hard to work out, most worshop manuals tell you how much lift they have at or near TDC on overlap. If you have a dial indicator, use it to check lobe wear before you pull the head of for a service, that way you will know if you need a cam or not beforehand. Maximum lift measured with a dial indicator will tell us what cam is too.
