No Start -injector pulse? 700

I've checked as much as I can on my 1990 740 GLE 16valve.

No start condition.
I have spark. I have fuel at fuel rail. I can see pulse at Tach when cranking.

When I spray starting fluid in through the intake snorkle it will run. Local mechanic friend said I'm not getting pulse at injectors. He checked radio suppression relay. Jumped the injectors and they clicked.(they were cleaned professionally about 45K miles ago.)

He said looking at wiring schematic that it looks like either ECU or the ballast resistor.

I've cleaned the grounds on intake manifold. I've got a replacement ECU on order on ebay. ($60.00). Anything I can check while waiting?
