OK, another brace method.... 444-544

Try this one out: Get a mirror replacement metal tab and glue kit that would normally hold the inside windshield mirror in place. Mount this on the outside of the glass, and when the glue is dry (12 hours?) use it as a mounting point for that pesky center brace.
