IAC problem 900

This is regarding my 89 240. Unfortunately nobody on the 200 board could help so I come to you. I took the IAC valve out today for a good cleaning. I knew what to expect since I already did the 960 IAC a few weeks ago. The rotary valve on the in the 240 IAC seems to be stuck at about 1/8 inch open. I can stick a flat head screw driver in there but it won't budge. This might explain my lumpy idle when the engine is both cold and hot. I reinstalled it as is and the car still runs and idles the same. Is there anything I can do to get it unstuck? Maybe soak it over night in TB cleaner? If not, what model years 240/740/760 use the same IAC? I have a junkyard near by with a generous Volvo selection. I think the fuel injection system is LH 2.4?
