I just replaced all 4 calipers and pads. On the rear brakes, calipers and pads only. On the fronts, I had to replace some of the brake lines. I bled all according to the proper order, and seemed to do so properly, with no air evident. However, when I started the car the pedal sunk to the floor, with barely any resistance.
I noticed that there was fluid leaking from a couple of the lines I replaced on the left front. I removed them and realized the parts store had given me the wrong type - they were the domestic type, so the fittings were not the balloon type, they were the concave ones.
Anyway, my concern is that, before I head back to the parts store, the entire braking system is not really working. Could this really be possible from two leaky front lines? I thought it wouldn't , but thinking gets me in trouble a lot.
