It sounds like he is going for a more 'authentic' look than that!

I took out the cigarette lighter on mine and put in a spare heater switch. So it is just another matching knob on the dash. Certainly not stock, but then again OD's were never put on PV's anyhow. I keep on meaning to snag an illuminated 140 emergency flasher or rear-demist button and use it instead. It would at least say Volvo on it!
