544 Turns Over, but doesn't start - not sure what to do... 444-544

It's safe! Smoke in exhaust and crankcase is due to blow-by (term for combustion gases sneaking by piston rings which are supposed to seal against bores and keep them from doing that)....tired engines , with their worn rings/bores have more, but there is another possibility. After prolonged storage, rings tend to bind up in the pistons causing poor sealing. I suggest pooring a thimble's worth of marvel mystery oil in each spark plug hole and letting it sit there for a week or while your working on your brakes etc. it really does work wonders.
