checking for boost leaks 700

The only one i would have to help me with this would be my wife, and i and not putting her behind the wheel doing that...... lol i used the air compressor and found a couple of things. There was a bolt out of the front of the turob that was causing air to vent (looking at the turbo, it was at the 4 or 5 o'clock position) i got a screw for that, i also found that the brake booster elbow was leaking with only 3 or 4 psi, i will go to napa for that piece in the morning. there was still another leak or two, it was getting to dark. i hooked the hose up to the inlet to the compressor, but i was geting a lot of air out of the flame trap, is that a sign of bad ring? Its the only way i can think that air would be coming out of there.
