I came across the Gemini Showrooms website after reading about it in an earlier post. According to one person, carbon fiber hoods are available only in the pre-'81 and '83 Group A flathood style.

However, I took a look at a photo page for the hoods, and it appears to me that they are also selling the 1986-1993 style hood. Would that indeed fit a late-model car, or is it a trick of the photograph?

Here's the page listing Volvo hoods. At $850 plus shipping, a carbon fiber hood would not be a cheap addition to the car, but still it's a nifty little product that the hardcore speedsters can purchase.
