lower my 164 140-160

If you can find a shop in your area that has a torch you can get a couple of 2 by 4's and cut them to the length that you want to lower the car. Place them between the axle and the body. Heat the springs with the torch and Wallahhh!!!!
instant lowered Volvo. It is cheap and effective. I did that some time ago with an old 142 that I used to autocross. Don't go to low though, it really stiffens up the ride. That was on the rears. At the front I cut one coil or so off and cut the rubber bump stop to match. Have fun.
