Often, puddles on the floor are a result of a leaky windshield seal; or water running down the rollup glass, into the door, then out of the door and onto the floor; or the heater duct drains might be clogged (this is really common). Are you certain that it's the door seal?

Part of why I ask is that I have an 1800 here that has essentially nothing left of its door seals, but even when it's parked in the rain, water doesn't come into the cabin.

$50 each is a pretty good deal, in my own opinion.
