Thanks for the compliments on the car. Another poster indicated that the wagons never came with a sunroof. As much as I enjoy a sunroof I have other cars with them and won't be putting a sunroof in this one now. I don't mind doing a tasteful addition of an option that was available on a car but when the option was not available it just gets too "Monster Garrage" for me. :)

I have had aftermarket sunroofs in other cars with rather good luck. The two keys are the company that made the roof and the installer. The roof itself needs to be made out of good materials and have a wealth of parts available for you when the roof starts to have issues in the next 10 years or so. The installation is critical as well as a badly installed roof is bad from day one and only get much much worse in 10 years. Webasto makes a great aftermarket sunroof and also does a lot of panels for new vehicles. If memory serves me I believe my S70 had an original Webasto roof.
