Just FYI,

I used a can of this stuff on my old oil-burnin Ford Courier pickup with the 2.3 OHC motor in it (pinto motor). About 30 miles later something's making a horrible racket under the valve cover. It took me a while to figure it out but something (could it be "Restore"?) was actually plugging the oil galleys in the camshaft and the #4 exhaust cam follower got so hot and dry that it got thrown off the valve and cam and was laying on top of the head.

I shrug, drain the oil, change the head (the cam was ruined) and run a few more thousand miles. Then I must have eaten something that made me stupid that day because I bought another can of "restore" to try and slow down the oil moving past the rings. 20 miles later and something is making this horrible racket under the valve cover. Luckilly I caught it in time and manually unplugged the oil holes in the cam lobes, then poured a quart of ATF in the crankcase and drove home where I could change the oil.

I put this stuff in an old 75 Celica with the 20R with no ill effects but my Ford motors did not like it one little bit, and since I did it twice with the same result, I think my analysis of the cause is likely correct.
