instrument cluster problems 200 1987

I am in the middle of a similar situation. However,I am looking to understand and do the reverse of you. That is, I have an available K10042 and have a K9800 in my 87 Wagon that is showing it's age. I am looking to replace it.
This is when I did some info seeking and found your post.

I will consider a swap of the K's if you want to consider this. My K10042
is also out of an 1987.

I'm new to being a writer so I'm a claim to be. I have kept your post in my history and will return in the days to look for your response.

Thanks for considering.
