Wiring an amp on a 92 240.

Not sure, car audio isn't my specialty but as I understand RCA coaxial cables are fairly resistant to interference from low voltage sources. RF interference from the ignition would be more likely IMHO but still is not an issue on most external amp installations that I've heard. Might not hurt to call your local car audio shop & ask their opinion though, free advice is just that, can't hurt to ask them.
