O/D problem phase II 200

I second pushing the wire carefully out through the shifter box. It’s a nightmare to replace the grommet if it pops out.

If you want to replace the sleeved connector to the solenoid wire, check a local junkyard. The turn signal/running light wire harness on the passenger side front is an exact match for the OD solenoid connector (the wire on the driver’s side is larger). Look inside the Molex connector below the back of the headlight capsule.
