Pertronix for 164E 140-160

I have the Crane unit in my 72 164. Got it from JC whitney. It came with 6 or 7 different chopper wheels so the unit can be used on 4,6 or 8 cylinder engines. For the 164, choose the wheel with six slots which will fit snugly on the distributor shaft. Its been in there now about 20K miles; no problem. I guess my only question about it is.......whats the expected life of the LED, or whatever creates the light.
