Brake drum: Going crazy! 120-130 1965

olof;

I presume you have read up on this subject in old postings...and if you got the left drum off, one would expect you are using the right technique and a suitable (homemade) puller ...I suggest keeping the puller at maximum preloaded overnight, and maybe add some penertrating oil/solvent into the drum/axle joint...didn't a poster a while back say that using this technique, the drum popped off all by itself, with a load report, in the middle of the night...whatever it takes...then use anti-seize at reassembly time to keep this from happening the next time...

...on shoes and adjusters...who knows what some PO had in mind when he did what he did...sometimes it was because of what they could only get, sometimes more creative reasons...

More reading and suggestions at: http://www.intelab.com/swem/service%20notes.htm#Braking%20System

Good Luck
