Assuming your 740 was built for the U.S. market . . .

If it's a turbo, it's a Bosch system.

If it's a non-turbo, it's PROBABLY a Regina.

If it has the big wierd-looking ignition coil mounted to the L/H strut tower, that's the REX ignition which was commonly used with the Regina fuel system.

If it has both a fuel filter AND a fuel pump under the car below the driver, it's a Bosch. If just a filter and NO pump it's a Regina.
