Thank you all who responded. This thread seems to be an on going question that will most likely be asked much more.

I have decided to rebuilt my SU's because thats what Volvo intended.

I hope this has cleared up other people's question as I know it has mine.

Now lastly, how do i tell which SU's i Have? They are off a 1965 122s B18. I could probably just check them out myself but I fiqured while I'm here........
