The front and back are identical!
I have two different nut styles for my car as the 15" wheels I have for winter tires have a "hub cap" covering the nuts and they are open top nuts which wouldn't care how long the studs were.
The 16" wheels use chrome plated closed top nuts for good looks. They would probably bottom out if they were used on thin steel wheels. BTW, the plating on these OEM nuts is far superior to anything you will get at the local parts store. After 6 years of weather still not a single rust spot!
