Hi,
I examined that Kent cam, and did find S-764 marked on it, with another code tapped over it. So it was originally a Volvo S-cam which Kent has reground to their fast road spec, but even at that they did a sloppy job since the profile has shifted 8°. Nice, that cam was 3X more expensive as the S-cam back then, and what did I pay for ? Right , a piece of junk. It is bad enough they can't make a decent cam, but they manage to turn good cams into bad ones !!!
I timed my kg6 cam and the lobe centers proved to be at 107° and 103°, they should be at 105° both. But 2° of is much better as 8° of to say the very least.
