oil related question 700 1990

Rather dumb question I'm afraid. I misread the dipstick level and overfilled about half a quart of mobil 10/30 synthetic. Should I remove plug, drain it all out and put it back in or would I harm the engine if I left it in. I live in southern Califonia where 90 -100 degree days are normal.
