Well. That makes for some very interesting rethinking. I wonder why I got such different results from different oils? Was I biased?
Probably but it remains a bit of a mystery to me why the named brands always ended up so sludgy on the top end whereas some other brands kept things cleaner.

Perhaps I have just become more aware of my engine and kept it cleaner as the years progressed?
