strange model 700 1986

hello to all. I am in a strange situation. I recently bought a 1984 760Ti from a friend. it is trashed, except for the engine. now my dad found a 1986 740 GLE Turbo Intercooled that needs an engine. I have never seen these. I have only seen 740 turbos and 740 GLEs, but never combined. is this some strange model? it has all the same features as my 760, but also heated mirrors and volvo 16s. weird. so, I'm going to switch the engine. the car is only 200 bucks! it's getting a T3/T04 turbo, an isuzu NPR front mount radiator, the megasquirt fuel system, 55lb/hr injectors, a water injection system, motegi MR12s, an IPD 3 row radiator, a grant fuel pump and a massive BOV. oh yeah, and porsche drilled and slotted front rotors and calipers and drilled rotors in the back.
