Hello Again,
OK, to shorten the story, I have recently (w/in the last 6 months), replaced the RSR, RPM Sensor, Plugs, Resoldered Fuel Pump, and Light Relays. If you'd seen my previous post in March, you'll see the problems.
I thought my hot start problem days were over, but they are back. However, I have gotten it to start EVERYTIME I do this one thing. Tap on the starter 2-6 times. Aco-worker told me the try the solenoid (coil at starter). And explained they are made with silicone that probably decayed, and is loose.
This past year when I had the problem, when I tapped the starter, it would start about 40-50% of the time, but now everytime. Could it be the starter or Solenoid?
It has been around 100 degrees, here in Fort Worth, TX the past 8 days. The problem only occurs when weather is warmer than the day before, and after car is shut off.
Thanks,
