Sometimes the oil seperator device under the intake manifold can get dirty. Has it been removed and cleaned out recently? Replace o-ring also. Maybe try clamping vacuum lines one at a time while idleing to see if anything happens. If you have the Mitsu turbo there's a hard plastic tube going across the valve cover from the turbo air line. It sometimes cracks at the end and is hard to spot due to the foam cover.
