760-850 700

The general consensus seems to be that the 850s are not as durable... and they are certainly more difficult to maintain. If I remember correctly, the early 850s have transmission and electrical problems. Since Volvo introduced the 850 in '93, the car your looking at would definitely be classified as an "early" model -- I'd avoid it.

But I'm not at all impressed with FWD Volvos in general. When RWD Volvos are no longer readily available, I'll be searching for a new car brand.

Just my 2 cents... arguably worth that.
