What would you do? Keep or sell? 200 1993

I have an 81 242 that was my first car. I've had it for 10 years and for essentially 2 of those it was broken/parked. It was worth more than the 500 bucks tops I would get, just to see it sitting in the driveway. Now I am in grad school and she is back on the road. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, when I get out of school and have a 2nd car and a garage where I can work on her - until then I am just tring to stay out of accidents and get to and from class.

It sounds like you are already a step ahead of me, with the 2nd car. If your lifestyle supports it, and it makes you happy, then keep the car.

I will say that the couple years mine got very little driving were tough on the car - much harder than when I was driving a lot and on the weekends etc. She's been back on the road for about a year now, and every time I get the oil changed, I also put about $300 into odds & ends. Of course, those are things that I would try to do myself if I had a 2nd car and the condo association let us work on our cars. In the last 4 years, I have a new alternator, both fuel pumps, steering rack, injector seals, and a relay for the O2 sensor that was causing rich mixture.
