still running rough 1800

That's the 'proper' way to do it for sure, but it can be a pain to remove (crud can be built up on the shaft underneath the bushing) and replace (getting the gear to mesh back nto the oil pump drive and go down that last 1/3rd inch). An easier way to do it is twist the distributor back around 90 degrees, then move all the wires over one position. Same effect. Although not as 'proper'...
