Exhaust system paint?

You're right of course, George. As soon as I read your reply I realized what a foolish question it was. Every exhaust system I have ever had has rotted from the inside. I guess I was just looking at the corrosion evident on the outside and thinking I might do something to forestall the inevitable.
I will go ahead anyway, and paint the exterior of teh system, 'just to make pretty'!
