One very good possibility is the so called "igniter" which is really the coil driver, usually mounted on the left front fender with a aluminum plate as a heat sink (Remove whole thing, the package has heat sink grease between the module and aluminum plate. Check the FAQs or search for igniter or power stage. It has five pins with pin 5 going to pin 16 of the ECU via a green wire, and pin 1 going to both the coil and tach,letting you watch the tach to see if it is working ok. After you get spark, then you get fuel, and hopefully start the engine.
