Engine hesitates when cold 200 1992

My 240 would not idle well, and so I replaced the fuel pressure regulator. Now it idles fine, but when I hit the gas it hesitates & sometimes stalls. Once it gets warmed up, everything is fine.

Any ideas what this could be?
