From previous discussions on the Brickboard about lowering my 220, which I have done, some Koni's and Bilsteins have been recommended to me. I have Bilstiens on my from but I kept my stockers on the rear until they die and I have researched a good replacement for them.

Both of these would need modifications as they both have a 1/2" ring-eye mount and our Volvo's use a 5/8".

These are for the rear (I have no experience with these and have not tested them out)

Bilstein B46-1414
Koni 80-2634

I have't researched these 2 shocks so I really don't know how compatible they are, I'm just passing on what I've been told. One path I haven't explored is going to the Volvo dealer and seeing what they might be able to get in for me.
