Transmission Cotrol Module (TCM)

As weird as it might sound in the civilized world, the Transmission Control Module of my 1994 960 volvo was stolen. This hapenned in La Paz Bolivia where I am living as an expat.

After the incident, I drove my car without it for a couple of miles to the Volvo service shop and noticed the transmission light (arrow shaped) blinking on the control panel.

I need help finding the part or at least finding the part number for this item. The local volvo authorized repair shop is worthless.

Also, any advise on how to install the TCM will be appreciated. Please also let me know what kind of precaucions to take when replacing the TCM or when I supervise its installation by the shop technicians, who I personally do not trust.

The connector cable was cut, so I will also need the part, or the part number of the cable and plugs that connects this unit to whatever is connected to.

Are ther different TCM models for the 1994 960 car? or all of them use the same device?

Although my 960 is 11 years old, it only has $56K miles and it is an outstanding car (runs great at 12,000 feet above sea level). I guess the previous owner didn't drive it too much for fear of it being stolen.

This is my only car at this moment and I am going nuts without it.

Please HEEEELP!

Thanks.
