Those fuses get really hot under normal useage, this is why you hear people talking about the melted fuse socket, i have that problem on my 87 765. Chances are it is going to be your control unit, they are pretty expensive, so youll deff want to rule out a wire short first, trace the blower motor wires and make sure none of them melted and contacted another or a grounding source.
