It injects solvent, and uses compressed air from your air compressor to blow it out. Picky people will follow that with a flush of nitrogen or 134a to flush out the excess air. Or you can do the 'urban engineering' method, and use a funnel for the solvent and flush it out with a rubber tipped blow gun running off of your air compressor. The flush gun works a lot better. Make sure you remove the expansion valve or oriface tube depending on what you have, if you flush the evaporator. Of the two, the condenser is easier to do, and that is where most of the gunk was on both of mine.
