Hello...I took apart my b230ft engine block, but I failed to mark which piston was number one.....The firewall side or the front of the engine. I have noticed that the piston rod/ bearing caps are stamped 1,2,3, & 4. I know that they are marked that way in order to keep them as sets. However, could it also pertain as to the order that they go in the block? In sequence with the markings on the crankshaft? Please advise. Thanks.
