What kind of 1992 is it? Wrong plugs, cracked ceramic insulation, ill fitting or incorrect wires, wires installed correctly on either end. Vacuum hose knocked loose, or is(are) the end(s) cracked, timing belt off. Two of the cars I bought had the T-belt off but ran fine. Concentrating on rain, the FAQ mentions weathered weather stripping where the hood meets the cowling allowing water to get into the distributor. Is the belly pan installed? I'd still do the night check.
