Performance generally drops a bit (perhaps 10% ?) due to the lower energetic value of LPG. However, since LPG already enters the intake system as a gas, rather then a liquid, the mixture is much more equal and causes a very clean and good burn. Therefore, in practice I hardly notice a performance difference between the 2 fuels.
No specific problems involved when running LPG. You do need to place a big chunky tank in the car which leaves you with less storage space. Also, hardened valves seats are needed. LPG burnes at a higher temp then pertol, so with hardened seats, the valves will recess even faster.
General comments: very pleased wit it, as are basically all LPG-amazon drivers over here. Its a very simple system, realy easy to adjust (one idle, and one micture screw) and basically no need for maintainance. I'd say go for it.
Hope this helps :)
cheers, ben
