If you decide to buy, and the dealer helps with the timing belt replacement, get the belt tensioners replaced at that time.
Check into the replacement of the serpentine belt (accessory drive) and its tensioners, too.
See if the dealer will print out a record of the work done on the car by his shop. It can be very helpful.
I bought one (965) in May, and have enjoyed it. Just put in Mobil 1, and learned something in the process. the Onwer's Manual sez 5.7 quarts, so I tried 6, and was still 1/2 quart short. Also, unlike the 240, the belly pan must be dropped for the job. PITA.
It's a Volvo, but BOY and HOWDY is it a different Volvo! Keep a light foot on the gas, 181 bhp zips right along.
Good Luck,
Bob
