I know it is silly to not want to move some place because I won't
be able to work on cars, but it is a concern.

Yeah, it does sound silly, but I know how you feel. I'm in NY, (not the city), and I want to move somewhere where it doesn't snow as much, rain as often, and is not humid or 100 degrees so I can work on my cars and enjoy them more. I'm not sure where that is, maybe northern Az. in the mountains?
