If you have an autozone around you they lend a lot of tools for free; especially specialty tools like the ones used in front end work. You can buy a good quality tie rod end(s) from fcpgroton.com and then get the tool from autozone if you need it. It should be pretty easy to do, but alas it is all relative. You will probably need to get a front end alignment afterwards and so you might want to consider doing your balljoints and any other front end work at the same time to save from doing another alignment down the road when something else fails. You will save a lot of money by doing it yourself, but only if you do it right... The Bently manual is the better manual for your car but if you are in a pinch you can use the Chiltons or this Board.
