Overdrive problem, cannot find relay........ 700 1990

740s have a cluster behind the ashtry in the center of the dash which has all the fuses and most of the relays. You will remove the ashtray, then pop off a trim piece around the cigarette lighter. This reveals a screw which allows that piece to be pulled out too. No real access to the relays without getting that stuff out of the way.

The OD relay is one of those. It's big and white, but so is the Fuel Pump Relay which is in the far, right corner. I don't remember the OD's position, but I think there is a diagram in the 740/940 FAQ under Features on this site.
